US President Joe Biden’s statement recognizing the events of 1915 in the Ottoman Empire as genocide will worsen relations in NATO.
VOİCEPRESS reports that the statement came from Latvian Defense Minister Artis Pabriks.
“The US president’s long-standing position on the Armenian genocide will complicate cooperation between the two NATO countries at a time when it is most needed,” Pabriks said.
