Armenia violates agreements – Bayramov

Our goal is to create conditions for the return of IDPs to the liberated areas. Now there is nothing, everything is destroyed. The fact that these areas are literally “poisoned” by mines complicates things.

Voicepress reports that the statement came from Azerbaijani Foreign Minister Jeyhun Bayramov at a press conference after a meeting with his Lithuanian counterpart Gabrielius Landsbergis.

The minister said that despite the calls, Armenia refuses to provide a map of the mined areas, thus violating the agreements reached.

“I informed my Lithuanian colleague that 22 people have died as a result of mine explosions since November 10 last year. The world community should also pay attention to this,” Bayramov said.
