Moscow expects that Baku’s refusal to discuss the special status of Nagorno-Karabakh will not provoke a new wave of conflict in this region, Deputy Foreign Minister Andrei Rudenko told reporters on Wednesday, VOICEPRESS correspondent in Moscow reports.

“We expect that this will not lead to a new wave,” Rudenko said.

When asked if there are any approximate terms for resolving the issue of the status of Nagorno-Karabakh, the diplomat answered negatively.

“No, there are no deadlines,” Rudenko said, adding that the issue of status is very sensitive.
